The concept is fairly simple: members can create and manage online their Gamer ID. The website automatically creates CVs for their WoW characters, Starcraft 2 and HoN profiles... and get matched with adequate teammates/guilds.

It's pretty much wow-centric for the moment, and lots of new features should be added soon (gear auditor, detailed gearscore and so on...).

So. Here's what you can do on GameCreds.com:

1- Build your WoW gamer profile - Just like any WoW profiler, simply type in your character name and realm and the website will produce an Armory-like CV, with automatically updated info on your PvE achievements, PvP activity, gear updates...


The system detects if you're part of a guild - and if so, will automatically create a full-fledged Guild Blog for your guildmates and you, that comprises a Facebook-like Wall of comments, a private forum, a guild video section, a guild charter and a Recruitment section.

2- Recruit new guildmates - It's a few seconds process: a set of popups enables you to choose the classes you're looking for, their mandatory PvE experience, gear requirement and system info (microphone, Teamspeak client...).


Applying to a guild is almost as fast: you choose the character that's going to apply, and fill in a few personal info (DPS cycle, gameplay habits, IRL info...). No need to detail your gear and PvE achievements at length: your character resume is automatically attached to the application - private: only you and the guild members can see it.

3- Upload Guild videos - GameCreds has stricken a unique deal with Dailymotion, and can thus offer his members unlimited video uploads, in HD and without length restriction.

Videos play in a pretty sophisticated player. Here's what your video would look like, if you were Guild Paragon and had killed the Lich King, for example:



Anyone can upload a video, tag a WoW character and share it with its guild...

4- Earn honors! :D - This is a pretty cool feature. An onsite WoW Achievements-like system that rewards your activity on the website. You unlock "honors" by uploading a video, applying to a guild, adding WoW characters to your gamer profile... these will be converted into virtual currency in a near future, enabling you to purchase games/gaming stuff at a discounted price, get access to beta keys...
